COMPANIES AND SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES

Are companies wasting their time with social media profiles? This is a very interesting question. Now for many small companies, might quickly respond and say yes. Social media is a waste of time as most small companies don't see the benefits of using social media, and more importantly, don't see the return on investing on social media platforms.

But. there is a lot that companies can benefit from using social media profiles. Social media is growing on a large scale on a day-to-day basis. New applications are being created everyday to allow easy communication and advertising for businesses. Social media platforms such as; Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest present a number of opportunities for businesses to reach and attract customers. More especially, it gives them the chance to build a good brand image.

lots of people are connected on a global scale and they take part in communicating and sharing information through online sharing. Information on social media profiles spreads virally very quickly. Companies using social media profiles will see that they can send out information to a large audience, be able to view what is said about them and respond to customers needs.

Is it all  a waste time?Well! for some yes, and for many companies, its an advantage and used as one of the many ways of communicating and developing relationships with their different stakeholders.
